* The workshop takes place at 3  locations in Barrington, IL:

                                Barrington Bataille Academie, 102 N. Cook Street
                                Barrington Bataille Academie, 120 Lageshulte 
                                Barrington High School, 616 Main Street

* There are 4 rooms running simultaneously, according to age and technique levels

* Each year we rotate our faculty as many students return each year.  Classes are taught
   in: Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, and Modern.  Occasionally we may add Musical 
   Theater, Pilates, Yoga, or other creative dance forms.

* Lunch is provided at each location, except for a sandwich (Scholarship students will be
   assigned a 'host Mom' to bring a sandwich)

* On certain activities parents/siblings may be allowed to join us.  We will inform you of the
   costs for tickets to theater, water park adventure, etc. 

* Scholarships cover partial tuition but do not cover activities.  

* Upon receipt of your registration we will mail information on additional activity costs. 
   These are kept to a minimum (typically ranging from $50 to $75).  Additional tickets for
   parents and/or siblings to attend certain shows and activities is separate. You will receive
   a form with all information and are not obligated to participate in any of these activities.

* Late or last-minute sign-up for some activities* may be possible but it is best to sign up
   early as the activities quickly fill up. (*EXCEPTION: Theater tickers are reserved in
   advance and have a specific deadline: details will be included in your information packet.)

*All water park tickets, theatre tickets, and t-shirts will be distributed at orientation.

* The hotels are approximately 15 minutes from the studio and high school.

* It is better to fly in to O'Hare airport (20 minutes away) than Midway airport (1 hour (+)
   away).

* You will need a car unless you coordinate with other students. We will try to arrange
   carpools to/from the hotels by introducing out-of-town students to each other (over the
   phone) prior to your arrival so that you may coordinate rides and work out carpool details.

*The Performance Showcase will conclude by 7:30 pm on Friday evening.  It's best to fly out after 9:30pm (10:30 from Midway Airport).

* You may observe classes through the parent observation windows.  Please remember to
   refrain from talking while in the classes at the theater and dance rooms at Barrington High
   School.

*  No videotaping of any classes allowed!  Please, NO EXCEPTIONS: classroom
   instruction and materials are copyrighted.  Videos will be available to purchase after the
   Performance Showcase.

* The class schedule and orientation packet will be available online 2 - 3 weeks prior to the workshop. Please check this website for details.

* If you think you may have been placed in the wrong group, corrections will be made
   AFTER the first day according to teacher recommendations.
